 Course Objectives

This one day course will provide you with the theoretical knowledge of Reiki, energy healing work and the chakra system. You will have plenty of time to receive healing and also practice your new skill. On this course you will receive your reiki level 1 attunement by a professional Reiki Master (Lynda has trained with and been attuned by six Reiki Masters. She is a practising Karuna Reiki Master and has been teaching Reiki since 2004). 

On completion of this course you will have the skills and knowledge enabling you to heal yourself, friends, family, pets, plants, etc.

What is Reiki?

Reiki Healing is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation, which also promotes healing.  It aids the receiver to heal physically, emotionally or spiritually, using a system of hands on healing to unblock and rebalance the life force energies flowing within and around the body. The client remains fully clothed, receiving the energy whilst sitting or lying down. The healer’s hands are then placed in various positions above or (with permission) on the body. Reiki is for everyone, and can be learned by all who wish to heal themselves, others and the world around them.  Anyone can become a Reiki healer and it requires no pre-requisites.

Course Objectives

Course Outline

About your Reiki Teacher/Master

Lynda began her reiki healing journey in 1995. Shortly after reading a book “Celestine Prophesy” she co-incidently began to meet with reiki practitioners. Few explained what Reiki actually was so after experiencing reiki for the first time she noticed she felt a surge of energy, heat and saw many colours. It was later she learnt that the order in which she experienced the colours were the same colours for each Chakra. Curious she decided to learn more about this modality and trained with Susan Anthony in 1997 completing her Reiki Level 1. After many years of personal growth and practicing on friends & family she helped to observed and helped with the healing of a friend who was told she would never recover from brain damage.  She miraculously recovered through reiki and this inspired Lynda to further her training. She completed her Reiki level 2 in 2001 with the Rainbow School of Reiki and then trained with 4 different Reiki Masters. She decided to do this because her first two teachers where so different in their training and in order to become the best teacher she could she wanted to observe the different teaching methods of Reiki Masters. She is also a Karuna Reiki Master and has been teaching Reiki since 2003. She completed an apprenticeship at the Crystal Zen Garden, Reiki & healing school in the UKand has been teaching since 2003.
